D9 Usva Class Stealth Raider
The D9 Usva is a campaign-only ship at Planets.nu. It was designed by SMN, the champion of the Capricorn war.

The D9 Usva is similar to an Ill Wind, in that it is a medium ship that has 10 beams, high mass and a large cargo. It also features stealth armor, which makes it harder to detect. Its detection range depends on its warp speed (see below). The D9 is superior to the Ill Wind in nearly every way, but its drawbacks are a much higher cost, and a higher tech level (tech 9).
Because the D9 has such a high mass, it can easily defeat any medium ship, including the Selenite, despite the Selenite having 1 more torpedo tube. Since the D9's mass is above 320 kt, it takes only 1 damage per fighter hit, making it much stronger against carriers.
The D9 can be hidden easily from enemy scanners by towing it, because this will reduce the D9's warp speed to 0, thus making its detectability range 10 ly. This can allow you to tow it with a weaker ship, and then have a nasty surprise for the enemy when they intercept.
